As a trans person and a priest, I feel hugely blessed to follow in the footsteps of others who have lived lives of great love, courage and grace, opening up pathways and bringing healing and hope to our world in many ways.  I acknowledge what they have done for me and others.  It can be a bit invidious to highlight individuals, but here are a few examples of those who have inspired me...

Chris Paige  - organiser, educator and author, founder of Transfaithonline

Cameron Partridge  - Episcopal priest, theologian, trans man

Carol Stone - the first serving Church of England priest to transition from male to female. 
- I vividly remember the moment, and exactly where I was, when I read (in the Church Times) of the news of her intended surgery and public transition in 2000 - it was like a surge of light went through me.
